To "not Internationalize" is Simply not an Option any Longer
Growing usage of the Internet by non-English speaking users means conventional wisdom regarding websites obsolete - an English-only site is not enough! In fact to not internationalize today is simply no longer an option for leading e-businesses.
In a recent survey on customer service for major U.S. e-tailing sites Gartner Group lists Lack of internationalization as one of E-Tailers' Top-10 Customer Service Mistakes - "To be taken seriously on the Web, e-tailers must fix these problems; otherwise, they will alienate customers and fail to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction goals."
